The goal of this workout is to build solid muscle and strength without the need to use machines, dumbbells, or barbells. With weights, fatigue is usually achieved through 8-12 reps with whatever weight you deem challenging while bodyweight exercises require way more.
The goal is to combine higher rep count with a few tweaks to how they are done. The key here is explosive negative movement. More muscle fibers are incorporated through explosive repetitions and by use of negative movements deeper fiber tear is achieved.
